Treatment of Ankylosing Spondylitis in the “Huangdi Neijing
Detailed Treatment Plan
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an inflammatory condition primarily affecting the spine, leading to stiffness and pain. In ancient Chinese medicine, it is believed that AS arises from deficiencies in kidney function and the invasion of wind, cold, and dampness into the body. The “Huangdi Neijing” emphasizes balancing the body’s energies, improving circulation, and expelling harmful influences to treat conditions like AS.
